Grandparents Day this year is September 9th and campuses at North Lamar will be celebrating by inviting grandparents to share a meal with their grandchild.
On September 6th, Higgins Elementary is inviting grandparents to eat lunch with their grandchild during the student’s lunchtime.
The cost for an adult lunch is $5.00.
Grandparents are invited to see their grandchild’s classroom and photo opportunities will be available.
Everett Elementary will celebrate grandparents on September 10th by inviting them to eat breakfast with their grandchild.
Second graders will eat from 7:50 to 9:15 a.m. and third graders will eat from 8:40 to 10:00 a.m.
The cost is $2.75 for grandparents.
Students may give their grandparents a tour of their classrooms, the gym, and library.
Pictures will be taken of the grandparents with their grandchild for $5.00 each.
On September 11th, Aaron Parker Elementary is inviting grandparents to eat lunch with their grandchild.
The price for an adult lunch is $5.00.
Grandparents are welcome to tour the campus with their grandchild.
