North Lamar High School graduate Luke Parsons is joining the Harvesters baseball team at Eastfield College, located in Mesquite, this fall. Eastfield College is a member of the Metro Athletic Conference, a National Junior College Athletic Association, Division III non-scholarship conference. The Harvesters baseball team won the NJCAA DIII National Championship in 2001, 2006, and 2011.
In his junior year, Parson helped the Panthers reach the postseason for the first time since 2016, where North Lamar finished second in the district standings. The Panthers rose three spots from last place to qualify for the playoffs.
