The ever-popular Gerber Baby search is back on, and your little one could be chosen!
The original Gerber Baby contest took place in 1928, and rather than submitting photos; artists entered their artwork for consideration.
Artist Dorothy Hope Smith entered a simple charcoal sketch that went up against intricate paintings. The endearing drawing of a baby, named Ann Turner, touched the judge’s hearts spurring the sketch to be the brands represented babyface for nearly a century.
Then in 2010, the company decided to open up the contest again. For the last 20 years, the Gerber Photo Search has become an annual contest, with the winning baby representing the brand for the year and also taking home impressive cash and prizes.
Entries for your bub to become the next Gerber Baby opened on Feb. 5 and will close on Feb. 21.
During the Submission Period, photos, videos, and entry form responses that are posted on the official Gerber Photo Search 2020 submission website (photosearch.gerber.com) will be compiled and (subject to the requirements below) will be entered for consideration in the Promotion for the Grand Prize.
To keep everything above board, the company has extensive yet easy enough terms and conditions for entering your baby for the potential grand prize winner.
As of Feb. 14, Texas has seen over 16,700 entries into the contest as it is open to baby’s from all 50 States between the ages of 1 day and 48 months old.
So, the only thing left to do is scroll through those photos to see if you can choose one to enter, and perhaps your baby could be the next Gerber Baby.
