Nancy Jane Casey, age 82, of Paris, Texas passed away October 17th, 2023. She was born in Wink, Texas as the only daughter of Alvro and Juanita Casey. She is survived by one daughter, Diana Cox, grandchildren Johnathan Hartman and wife Tristan, Rebekah Hartman, Jeremiah Hartman and wife Caitlyn, Casey Escobedo and husband David, Jordan Archer and wife Tiffany, and Jacob Archer. She is also survived by a host of great grandchildren: Tasiah, Riely, Addison, Jaden, Jaxton, Wyatt, Newley, Julian, Jettson, Phoenix, Prezley, Adrian, Archer, Traynor, Loretta and Remi. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Lynne Hartman, and brothers Eli and Pat Casey.
Nancy was a lover of children’s literature, Elvis, George Strait and volunteering. She will be remembered for her impeccable organization skills, silly sense of humor, and expert dessert making. Grandma “Antsy” was never too tired for a card game or a puzzle. She worked for a number of years as a librarian in the Paris and Hugo areas and retired from both Oklahoma and Texas as a teacher in this field. The family would like to extend appreciation to the staff at Spring Lake Assisted Living and Memory Care for the care of their beloved mother and grandmother.
