Morris Franklin O’Briant, 65, of Wills Point, passed away Friday, July 22, 2022, at Baylor-Scott & White Hospital in Waxahachie.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 27th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mr. O’Briant, the son of Morris Kershaw O’Briant and Beualah Dean O’Briant, was born Sept. 23, 1956, in Germany. He served in the United States Army with the 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper. Morris was a corrections officer with the Marshalls Service for a number of years. His career as an industrial engineer spanned twenty years with ten of those years being spent at Kimberly-Clark.
His parents, Morris Kershaw O’Briant and Beualah Dean Horne, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Edna L. Tucker, three children, Vincent O’Briant (Tiffany), Daniel O’Briant, and Diana O’Briant, four stepchildren, James, Jack, Breanna, and Skylar, ten grandchildren, three siblings, John Dennis O’Briant, Robert Lawrence O’Briant, and Kathy Gillespie along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
Honorary casket bearers will be: Vincent O’Briant, Dennis O’Briant, Adrian O’Briant, Daniel O’Briant, Alex Bulin, and Shane McCloud.
