More than 150 lots sold in less than an hour at The Peninsular at Bois d’Arc Lake on Saturday, according to those in attendance, with about 800 buyers on-site eager to own a piece of northeast Texas’ newest waterfront development.
According to the price list, lots with access to the lake started at $79,000 while lots capable with lakefront docks and/or private slip started at $999,000.
However, realtors at the sale said all the lots sold for over list price, up to $1 million for a single lot and most had multiple back-up offers.
Phase one, featuring 75 lots, sold out within 23 minutes and phase two sold out within the hour.
The Peninsula on Bois d’Arc Lake sits on the biggest, widest, and deepest section along the shores of Bois d’Arc Lake, offering over four miles of shoreline.
It features a multi-million dollar clubhouse with infinity edge pool, community playgrounds, tennis and pickleball court, gym and outdoor fitness center and a custom putt-putt course.
The first new major reservoir in Texas in nearly 30 years, The Peninsular on Bois d’Arc Lake is the first of several expected lakefront communities on the 16,641-acre lake in Fannin County.
