Michael Wayne Jordon, 59, of Arizona, passed away there on July 16th. Michael was born to Thomas and Sandra Jordon on February 26, 1965 in Paris, Texas. He attended Paris schools and graduated in the PHS Class of 1983.
Michael worked for many years in construction, helping to build large-scale facilities including the ADX Supermax prison in Florence, Colorado.
Michael was predeceased by his parents and grandparents. Survivors include his daughter, Brittiannie Jordon Bullard (Josh) of Flint, Texas, his stepson Brandon Brewer (Lacy), and grandson Mason of Flint, Texas. Also surviving him are his sister, Marti Jordon Stellpflug (Neal) of Texarkana, AR, his brother, David Jordon (Carolyn) of Inverness, Florida, and his best friend who was like a brother, Steven Asay, of Paris, Texas. He was much loved by his nieces Jordon Wilhite (Chris) and Caitlyn Rhodes, and his nephews Patrick O’Harold, and Robbie (Maria) O’Harold, Neal Stellpflug II, and Alex Stellpflug Lukehart.
Anyone who knew Michael knew he had a big heart and that he would do anything in his power to help others. Michael loved music and would join a band or sing Karaoke at the drop of a hat. His sense of humor was unmatched, and his funny voices and faces will be missed by all.
Know that if Michael knew you, he loved you.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled a memorial service for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17th at Immanuel Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
