The body of 24-year-old Alyssa Walker-Donaldson was found in a submerged 2018 Buick Encore, according to McCurtain County Sheriff Kevin Clardy.
A dive team pulled her body from the submerged vehicle out of Broken Bow Lake in McCurtain County early this morning. Though the sheriff said there were no signs of foul play, authorities will perform a toxicology analysis.
Walker-Donaldson had been missing since Saturday, Feb. 5.
Late Wednesday evening, Walker-Donaldson’s vehicle was found near a boat ramp at Stevens Gap Road with the help of a sonar airplane.
To help ease speculations, Clardy said there have been no signs connecting Walker-Donaldson’s case to the escaped inmates in the area.
Anyone with any information in regard to Walker-Donaldson is urged to contact the sheriff’s office at 580-286-3331 as the investigation continues.
