The Red River Valley Homeless Coalition’s summer project, “Tennis Shoe Drive” benefitting Lamar County youth, is underway and shoes can be dropped off at Mathews Honda of Paris, Mathews Nissan of Paris, or Horizon House Transitional Shelter.
The organization covers 10 counties, however all shoes donated in Lamar County will be distributed to local school districts.
Only new shoes will be accepted in both kid and adult sizes. The shoe drive runs through Aug. 11.
