Mary Catherine Ward, 92, of Paris, passed away Friday, May 24, 2024, at Legend Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 30th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Brandon Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ward, the daughter of Albert & Alice Williams, was born December 17, 1931, in Biardstown, TX.
She graduated from Paris High School and attended Paris Junior College. On Nov. 17, 1951, she married Cleo Ward, and the couple moved to Dallas. She worked for Quick Way Stampings in production control until her retirement. Following Cleo’s retirement from Bell Helicopter Textron they moved back to Paris in 1992.
Mary was a longtime member of Friendship Baptist Church in Biardstown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Ward, and two brothers, George Williams and David Williams.
Survivors include her children, Cathy Culver, Mike Ward (Dara), and Alice Jackson, grandchildren, Josh Ward (Sabrina), Davin Bradberry (Angela), and Cassie Kiser (Chad), great grandchildren, Jayden Bradberry, Addison Bradberry, Joslyn Ward, and Steele Willingham and numerous nieces & nephews along with a host of wonderful friends.
