And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. Corinthians 13:13
The three great pursuits of a Christian life are not miracles, power, or spiritual gifts they are faith, hope, and love. Though these gifts are given by the Holy Spirit, they were never meant to be the focus or goal of our Christian lives.

In Galatians 5:22-23 Paul gives us examples of the fruit of the Spirit that walking in the Spirit produces in our lives.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.”
It is fitting that love be the first mentioned, because it encompasses all of fruits produced. DeeAnne walked with our Lord and her life embodied the fruits of the spirit. She loved her family, church and friends, but her greatest love was to our Lord.
She will be missed by many close friends and family. She leaves a legacy of a strong Christian faith and values. She blessed the name of Jesus unapologetically. Anyone who knew her knows she is hearing the words we strived for “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 29th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
