Madeline Josephine Ablon, of Paris, Texas, went home to her LORD’s comfort on June 5, 2026, at the age of 31 years old.
Born in Lewisville, Texas, on April 11, 1995, Madeline was not expected by doctors to live past a few weeks old. But with the love and care of her family, she was able to thrive, growing as a joyful woman who loved everyone she met.
Madeline grew up in Paris, Texas, and matriculated as a disabled student through Paris ISD. She loved spending time with her teachers and friends, whether it was at play time, physical therapy, or with her favorite tasty snacks. Madeline never did anything to harm anyone intentionally; she just wanted to play patty-cake and listen to you sing.
After Madeline’s time at PISD came to an end, she was cared for further at home by her loving mother, who always made sure her needs were met. Madeline got to travel around the country with her family, and everyone she met found her story to move their hearts. Madeline was often called one of God’s angels by both friends and strangers.
We, her family, agree. And now she is back with Him and all the other angels.
Madeline joins her mother, Rochelle Matthews Ablon, in Heaven, along with her maternal grandparents: Lester Gene Matthews and Sharon Kay “Corky” Matthews. She also joins countless other family members and special friends who doted on her throughout her time on Earth.
Madeline’s family carries on her legacy. They include: Her older brother, Matthew Ablon, of Lewisville; Her younger sister, Anna Holt, of Maple, along with her husband Heath and their children Landon, Jeremiah, Addison, and Robert; Her paternal grandmother, Cheryl Ablon, of Lewisville; Her maternal aunt, Kelly Matthews Cade, of Paris, along with her husband Jeff; Her paternal aunt, Nicole Caldwell, of Denton, along with her husband Scott; Her beloved longtime caretaker, Ruby Edwards, of Paris; Her older cousin, Katie Cade Hunter, of Paris, along with her husband Cody and their children: Hudson, Haidyn, Judah, and Noa; Her younger cousin, Michael Cade, of Atlanta, Texas, along with his wife Alyssa and their children: Grayson and Sophie; Her younger cousin, Josie Cade Williams, of Paris, along with her husband Josh, son Avery, and another young one on the way; Her maternal great aunt, Nancy Bloodworth, of Little Rock, Arkansas; Her cousin, Brandi Bloodworth Connolly, of Park City, Utah, along with her husband Brian and their children: Keira, Porter, and Garland; A cadre of teachers, friends, and loved ones who graced Madeline with their love and support, including the many friends who joined in on “Shenanigans With Madeline” each week for the last five years as part of outings for her enrichment.
Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home in Paris will host services on Thursday, June 11, 2026, with Matthew reading the obituary and Anna delivering the eulogy. The family will greet loved ones at 1 p.m. with service to follow at 2 p.m. Madeline will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery alongside her mother and maternal grandparents immediately after the service.
Loved ones are asked to wear bright colors and florals to reflect how bright, joyful and fun Madeline was.
