Lois Jean Sykes, 83 of Paris, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 at her home.
A graveside service has been set for Friday, November 9, 2018 at Evergreen Cemetery Chapel at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Dub McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
She is survived by her children, Jeff Sykes and wife Lawanda of Paris, Angela Yates Smith and husband Adrian of Paris; grandchildren, Shane England and wife Laurie and their son Ty England; Kirk England and wife Shawna and their children, Blake, Delaney, Emma, Zoe and Luke; Miranda Gaede and wife Andrea; Clayton Sykes and son Dallas; Jonathon Carico and children Wesley and Remington; Whitney Winton and husband Brad; Jaybo Sykes and children Erik Sykes and wife Sydney, Alik Sykes, Izik Sykes, Alyssa Sykes, Christy Graum and husband Trey and children Harley and Brianna Matlock.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kent Sykes; daughter Jan Karen England, son, James “Kim” Sykes; parents Gus and Zona Jeffrey; sister, Mary Geneva Reed; brother, William Penn Jeffrey.
Pallbearers will be Ty England, Jonathan Carico, Erik Sykes, Alik Sykes, Izik Sykes and Adrian Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wesley Carico, Clayton Sykes, Dallas Sykes, and Remington Carico.
