When Melissa Baker dressed a skeleton and placed it in her front yard last year for fun, never did she imagine it would be a daily thing throughout October for all to enjoy.
“It really started by accident,” said Baker. “Our daughter got a kick out of my dressing it up last year and when I posted it on Facebook, people really seemed to enjoy it. So, I just kept it going.”
The Skellie Shenanigans, as the family now refers to them, can be seen getting up to mischief each day all month long.
Pearl and Pauly flew back into the neighborhood (literally on broomsticks) on Oct. 1 and have been seen washing the Baker’s car, walking and bathing their skeleton dogs, doing yoga, playing cowboy and even getting engaged and tying the knot.
“Oh, my! What an exciting morning for Pearl and Pauly,” Baker posted on Oct. 5 with a snap of Pauly proposing to Pearl.
The couple didn’t waste any time and tied the knot the next day.
“Today is the big day! Dying..I mean, tying the knot. Til death do they part….wait…”
While Pauly and Pearl get up to their Skellie Shenanigan’s on a private property, Baker does post the photos each day and locals can follow along online by clicking here
