Every year, millions of people across the globe celebrate ‘Be Kind To Humankind’ week the last week of August.
‘Be Kind To Humankind’ is a celebration of people and the kind acts that they perform all across the globe.
To celebrate the week, local business owner Ashley Babb decided she wanted to shine a light on Paris and keep the acts of kindness going.
“The staff and I at Paris Glam decided we would do random acts of kindness this week to celebrate the week but we also wanted to challenge other businesses to join in,” said Ashley.
Starting the ripple effect, Ashley went to Mulberry Creek Nursery where she not only delivered Paris Coffee Co. gift cards to Courtney Parker and her staff but she purchased a plant and took it to Lamar County Chamber of Commerce president, Paul Allen.
From there, Courtney kept the random acts of kindness going by delivering gift cards from Nutrition Journey to Cotton Harvest Boutique & Spa owner, Hollie Barrentine.
“We just want to be positive and shine a light in Paris which is my goal with Paris Glam,” said Ashley.
If you want to join in the fun, simply show a random act of kindness and challenge that person to do that.
You can post it on social media or keep your act of kindness a secret.
Other businesses that have been challenged include Paris Nissan and South Main Iron who all received gift cards this morning through a random act of kindness.
