Lillie Mae Butler, 91, of Paris, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019, at The Home Place.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 25th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Fangio officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Butler, the daughter of Occo & Gertrude Myers, was born Oct. 19, 1927, in Lamar County.
She was a wonderful homemaker, an avid gardener and canned vegetables from her garden each year.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Jack R. Butler on May 27, 2002, her son, Roger Dale Butler on March 28, 2015, and two brothers, Jack Myers and William Myers.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Barbara Butler of Paris, a special daughter by choice, Deborah Stanphill of Powderly, grandchildren; Brent Butler, Brian Butler & wife Jennifer, Stephanie Bradley, David Bradley, Mike Simpson & wife Kera and Billy Simpson & wife Cari, great grandchildren; Matthew Butler, Marc Butler, Luke Butler, Brandon Butler, Jacob Sunberg, Hailey Simpson, Michael Simpson, Christopher Simpson, Shawn Simpson, Emily Bradley and Emmitt Bradley along with several great great grandchildren and a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Tony Perry, Tod Perry, Bobby Jones, Billy McElyea, Mike Simpson, and Billy Simpson.
