Larry Joe McNeal, 78 of Como, Texas, passed away on February 23, 2026, at Christus Mother Frances in Tyler, Texas.
Graveside services will be held at Restland in Roxton, Texas, on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
Larry was born on September 23, 1947, in Paris, Texas, to Harold Bell and Billie Ruth Brazeal McNeal. As a young man, Larry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as a telephone technician for many years until his retirement. In his later years, Larry enjoyed tinkering with just about anything he could get his hands on, especially when it meant spending time outdoors on a beautiful day. He appreciated the simple things in life and took pride in staying busy. He also had a special love for his cats, who brought him comfort and companionship in his last years.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and numerous other relatives.
Larry will be missed by all who knew him.
