La,Quita Whitlock, 86 of Paris, passed away Friday, February 15, 2019, at Legends Healthcare and Rehab Center.
A graveside service has been set for Monday, February 18, 2019, at 10:00 A.M. at Concord Cemetery in Fouke, Arkansas with Rev.Don Attaway officiating. No formal visitation has been set.
Mother was a very gifted poet, so talented in expressing herself through poetry. Words came so easily and eloquently for her. Now that one of the best poets has put down her pen for the final time, there are no words to describe the sadness we feel and the love that we have for her. We will forever love you.
She is survived by her children, Donna Lynn Davidson, Gweynellen Gordon and husband John, Wanda Percy and husband Zacary, Kevin Holliday and wife Sandra; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Betty McCool; brother, Andy Turner and wife Rhonda; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Kenneth and Lillian Gertrude Brown; husband, William Orville Whitlock; son, William Kenneth Holliday; sister, Edna Ilene Naylor; great-grandson, Hunter Clinkenbeard, Jr.
