Lamar County Sheriff’s Office recovers stolen items, arrests three in connection with burglary

The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office has been investigating a rash of burglaries and thefts occurring in the southwest part of Lamar County.

“Sheriff Detectives were investigating the burglary of a building off FM 1184 where multiple items were taken from a shop building,” said Cass. 

The value of the items stolen in the burglary resulted in property loss over $6500.00 dollars.

“Detectives were able to recover a majority of the owner’s property including a 4-wheeler, welder, plasma cutter, and roll-around tool chest.”

Cass said three suspects were identified in connection with this burglary.

Arrest warrants were obtained for Felony Theft of Property >$2500 <$30K for 35-year-old Ricky Joel Seat, 36-year-old Colton Paul Booker, and 26-year-old Ty Norman Warner.

Both Seat and Booker remain in the Lamar County Jail on bonds totaling $5,000 each.

Warner remains in the Hopkins county jail awaiting transport.
