The Lamar County Sheriff’s Office is hiring quality individuals looking for long-term employment with the Lamar County Jail as Detention I, II & III officers.
LCSO, a progressive and open community-orientated team of law enforcement professionals, is seeking to fill immediate positions.

Salary for a Detention I Officer starts at $32,901 yearly ($14.80/hourly *after a 60 day).
Salary for a Detention II Officer starts at $36,115 yearly ($16.25/hourly *after a 60 day).
Salary for a Detention III Officer starts at $37,351 yearly ($16.80/hourly *after a 60 day).
