Lamar County Alumni Baseball will host its second tournament of the year at Paris High School on Nov. 1, with proceeds benefiting Montie and Dawn Parson.
“Dawn is dealing with some unexpected medical conditions/expenses and the money raised will go to support Dawn and Montie’s journey to find a solution,” said event organizer Derek Jones.
The event is open to spectators who are invited to watch teams go head-to-head for a good cause.
There are three competitions open to players and spectators — Home Run Derby, Fastest Pitch and Closest to the Plate.
Plus there will be mini competitions to everyone in attendance.
“Come on our for some great entertainment where familiar faces will come out of retirement to play the game we all love. There will be music, walk-up songs, and more,” said event organizer Derek Jones.
Games start at 10 a.m. at the Paris High School Baseball Field. For more information, click here
