Karen Turner, 63, of Paris passed away January 17, 2021, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Services have been set for Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 11:30 AM at the Cowboy Church in the Camp with Pastor Duane Hamill officiating. A visitation will be held from 10-11:30 at the church before the service.
Karen was born on February 4, 1957, to Wendell Keith Sansing and Ima Nell Rhodes (Toby). She married Jerry Turner July 30, 1977, and taught for over 25 years in the Paris Independent School District.
She is survived by her son, Chris Turner and wife Kelly; daughter, Whitney Eatherly and husband Ryan; grandchildren, Chandler Calvin, Cash Turner, Sloane Eatherly, and Jake Eatherly; brother, Michael (Bucket) Sansing; sister in law, Terrie Burnett and fiancé Haskell, and Tracie Lindstedt and husband Spencer; brother in law, Tony Cutbirth and wife Sharon, Larry Cutbirth and wife Christine, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and daughter, Ryan Leigh.
Honorary pallbearers are Rydell Martin, Kyle McCarley, Rick Wilson, Jason Tomblin, Chet Downs, and John Harwell.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Cowboy Church in the Camp.
