Kamdyn Slayde Moree, 18, passed away Monday, June 16, 2025.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled a celebration of his life for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 21st at the Gospel Lighthouse Church, 7600 U.S. Highway 271 North, Powderly, TX 75473, with Bro. Ricky Roberts and Bro. Merwin Moss, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be made in Red Hill Cemetery.
Kamdyn was born December 21, 2006, in Paris, TX. He graduated from Mt. Pleasant Christian Academy. Kamdyn was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and doing guided fishing tours. He was a bull rider and general all-around cowboy. Kamdyn was a member of Gober Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, John Miller and Burnie Vanderburg and great grandparents, Jewel Fred and Nellie Kee, Merwin and Wanda Moss, Larry Moree, and Faye Miller.
Survivors include his father, Chase Moree and wife Kandace, his mother, Natalie Bowen and husband Kris, siblings, Jaycee Kaigh Brooks, Levi Gauge Moree, Collin Gage Carmical, and Emmalyn Faith Carmical, grandparents, Teneka and Van Duke, Tim and Cindy Moree, Kim Vanderburg, Don and Sherry Denison and Wanda Moree, a great grandmother, Martha Duke along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be: Jace Head, Collin Carmical, Jaxon Cope, Gauge Moree, Eli Smith, and Hagen Jordan.
