Justin Kent Cherry passed away peacefully at his home in Honey Grove, Tx surrounded by his family on September 1, 2022.
His Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 1 PM at Ridin High Cowboy Church, 8771 FM 35, Union Valley, TX 75189. There will be a meal to follow. Brother Ted Cherry & Pastor Steve Bishop to officiate.
Justin was born July 8, 1951 in Stephenville, Tx. He had 3 loves…his family, music & work. The family was sure to be met with some history trivia and words of encouragement or correction, whichever was needed. He grew up in a very musical family and enjoyed singing & song writing. He was a huge Elvis & Dallas Cowboys fan! Over many years he enjoyed his work as a general contractor and his customers loved & respected him.
He is survived by his wife Barbara of 28 years, their children Russell, Troy, Teresa ,Christie & Charleen. 18 Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren plus 2 on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Winfield Cherry & Georgia Ruth Honeycutt. In-laws Olin & Mildred Ragsdale. Grandson Dylan Barnes. His brothers David & Mark Cherry. Sister in-law Sandra Wallace.
