Shoot high. Dream big.
Judd’s Pay it Forward Picnic, held in memory of Judd Bryan to benefit local children who are suffering from life-threatening or critical illnesses, will be held on Sept. 6 at The Rail Yard in Paris, Texas.
“Our mission is to ease the financial burden on families of children with these tragic illnesses so that they can focus on what matters the most – spending time together and creating lifelong memories,” said organizers. “This year, we are hosting our first-ever community picnic to raise essential funds to support medical costs, travel, and family needs for two families within the community.”
Anderson “Judd” Bryan was a proud Wildcat at Aikin Elementary who was diagnosed with a tumor in his spinal cord passed away on Sept. 12, 2024, after a courageous battle.
“He was well-known for his quirky sense of humor and for his encyclopedic knowledge of history. He could often be found researching significant American events and dreamed of becoming a Navy pilot one day.”
The event will feature live music from Michael O’Neal, Bulletproof, and Common Ground.
BBQ plates and hot dogs will be available for purchase at the event.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the gate. For tickets or more information, click here
“Our hope is that Judd’s legacy lives on through helping others, understanding the need for finances when fighting the unimaginable.”
