Joyce Fern Wright, 90, of Royse City, formerly of Paris, passed away Friday, June 22, 2018.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 25th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Everson officiating. Burial will follow in Detroit Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Wright, the daughter of James Luther & Eula Bertha Elem Lamb, was born Feb. 22, 1928, in Detroit, Texas. She attended Detroit Schools. Her career at Westinghouse/North American Phillips Lighting spanned thirty years before her retirement. Joyce was a member of the First Baptist Church of Forney.
In June of 1946, she married Troy Everett Wright, building forty-six years of family and memories before his death on Feb. 1, 1993.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Montie Jean Garrison.
Survivors include a daughter, Elaine Campbell & husband Ryan of Fate, three grandsons; Christopher Ryan Campbell & wife Mary, Bryan Everett Campbell & wife Adrienne and Kevin Lee Campbell & wife Nicole, three great-grandchildren; Ethan Everett Campbell, Adam Ryan Campbell and Olivia Ann Campbell along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be Christopher Ryan Campbell, Bryan Everett Campbell, Kevin Lee Campbell, Nathan Everett Raulston, Mark Trimmier and Rick Wright.
