Jody Slagle, 88 of Paris, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026.
A graveside service has been set for Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Mike Atkins officiating. No formal visitation hour will be observed.
Jody was born in Chicota, Texas on February 18, 1938 to Tom and Nanlou Duke Slagle. His passion was working on old cars. He also loved to build motorcycles. Jody attended Pathway Church of God until his health wouldn’t allow him to.
He is survived by his brothers, Ray Slagle and wife Naomi, Buck Slagle; numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Slagle; son, Tony Slagle; parents, Tom and Nanlou Slagle; numerous siblings.
