Jewell Max Winton, 76, of Paris, went to be with his Lord and Savior and gained his wings, on Monday, April 16, 2018, in Stillhouse Rehabilitation. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 20, 2018, in Lighthouse Family Church with Rev. Tom Calk and Gary Landers officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM Thursday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.

Max was born on May 17, 1941, in Lamar County a son of Jewell Sherman and Christine Reynolds Winton. Max was a member of Family Lighthouse Church and served in the US Army. He was an insurance agent and loved antiques. He was a loving father and grandfather and will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sue Winton and a brother Eddie Winton.

Max is survived by his children, Donna Johnson and husband Bob of Branson, Missouri, Carla Hines and husband Bill of Paris, Dana Carmicheal, Joshua Jones and Charles Jones; grandchildren, Shawn Winton, Danny Anderson Jr. (DJ), Magan Fodge, Kayla Greenfield, Kimberly Klemptner, Amanda Hines, Eric Hines, Minde Beth Fields, Charle Perry, Madison Jones ,Sabrina Johnson and Sharena Fogleman; 14 Great Grandchildren brothers, Terry David Winton, Donnie Winton and Lynn Winton; sister, Pam Christian.
