James Lee Barnes was born in California on May 23rd, 1947, to parents William James Barnes and Viola Pearl Gray Barnes.
He was a deeply spiritual and faithful man. His love for Christ was evident in his daily devotion to prayer and reading God’s word.
In his younger college days, he attended SAGU (Southwestern Assemblies of God University) and TCU.
James was an only child and was preceded in death by both of his parents.
