JC Mayton, 68, born in Nevisdale, KY, died peacefully at home on November 20, 2022, in Pattonville Texas.
JC and his wife Cathy moved from Winnemucca NV, to Pattonville,Texas in May 2009 retiring from their business, taking up the new life of raising animals and baling hay. JC enjoyed his cattle, always staying busy with projects.
JC is survived by his sons James Alvin Mayton and Jay C Mayton, grandson Damion Jaymz Mayton, brother Maynard Mayton and wife Susie, brother Harold Mayton and wife Joyce, brother Alvin Mayton, sister Kathy Jones, sister-in-law Donna Ellison Mayton, nieces Lisa, Teresa, Denice, Vickie, Michelle, nephews Bryan, Scott, Hubert, Charlie and several step-grandchildren.
JC is preceded in death by his parents Alvis & Lena Bennett Mayton, brother Hubert Mayton, sister Mittie Lois Mayton, grandson Caleb Mayton, ex-wife Wanda Monday Mayton, and sister-in-law Virginia Miracle Mayton.
