Students at Paris Junior College were treated to a special visit from a leading industry expert ahead of their exams.
Expert watchmaker Ross Chapman, 27, flew in from Los Angeles to coach the next generation at Paris Junior College.
Originally from England, UK, Chapman was helping prepare horology students in a project lead by teacher Garrin Fraze.
“Ross’s presence in the classroom was of tremendous benefit, and his guidance and feedback gave our students valuable insight into the high standards of the watchmaking industry,” Fraze explained.
“His participation in this week of trial exams helped prepare the students for bench tests by giving them a fresh perspective from an experienced professional.
“Myself, the rest of the faculty, and all of our students are very grateful for his participation in this process and his support of the program.”
Chapman has held several senior industry roles and is a well-known industry expert out of the UK – moving to the U.S last year.
“It was an honor to coach the students at Paris Junior College,” he explained.
“I’m sure they all have bright careers ahead of them and I was delighted to share my expertise with them ahead of their exams.
“I had a great time in Paris and would welcome a return in a heartbeat, the Horology Faculty really is an amazing facility.”
