Popeyes’ infamous chicken sandwich that took the nation by storm is returning to restaurants Nov 3.
In a press release on Monday, the company shared just two words: “I’m back.”
In a short promotional video, it would appear that Popeyes are ready to reignite a friendly feud against Chick-Fil-A over their chicken sandwiches.
Back in August, the two food chains went head to head across the nation, having customers debate fiercely over which sandwich was better.
The teaser video for the re-launch sees Popeyes making it known that, unlike their competitor Chick-Fil-A, they are open on Sunday’s.
“We plan to offer it to our guests for a long time,” Bruno Cardinali, head of marketing for North America at Popeyes, told CNN Business in an email. “We are confident that we’ll be able to meet the demand.”
