Lake developments, new freeway construction, and now an RV Resort to top it off.
Fannin County is getting a makeover and Lamar County is set to benefit from the new recreational developments also.
With the start of the now called, Bois d’Arc Lake in Fannin County, the surrounding area is rich with new and exciting opportunities and companies such as PHC Development LLC are taking full advantage of it.
One new-build that is set to excite locals (think a mini-getaway right down the road) is Hidden Grove RV Resort and Storage.
“Hidden Grove RV Resort and Storage is located just a few minutes east of Honey Grove on Highway 82 on the Fannin and Lamar County line,” said Kevin Brown with PHC Developments LLC.
The company recently broke ground on Saturday, January 5th, and promises 250 units for any and all RV styles, a full range of family amenities, and even cabins to rent.
With Hidden Grove being just miles away from the Bois d’Arc Lake Reservoir, Brown describes their resort as being a “recreational paradise.”
“We’re excited to offer a fun outdoor experience to not only locals but those out of town who want to experience all northeast Texas has to offer.”
Not only will there be plenty of outdoor activities for the family, but also multiple ponds promising great fishing.
“Two ponds currently sit on the property and we are building one more,” said Brown. “Some of them will be stocked with trophy fish.”
Construction is looking to begin soon, and units will be available come June of 2019.
Right next door to Hidden Grove Resort will also be a storage facility.
“This facility has completely enclosed units with state-of-the-art monitored security storage for personal items; such as vehicles, RV’s, boats, motorcycles and much more.”
Completely enclosed garages are available, as well as a canopy and or open storage styles.
On top of the already much-anticipated development, the company is also in the early stages of adding commercial lots at the front of the property on Hwy. 82.
“We are in the early stages but we have planned building pads for a hotel, convenience store, and restaurants.”
