Helen Ruth Hart, 90, of Paris, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Stillhouse Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled graveside services for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12th, at Knights of Honor Cemetery in Blossom with Rev. Barry Loving officiating. A formal visitation is not scheduled, however, those wishing to pay respects may visit the funeral home.

Mrs. Hart, the daughter of Andrew Sidney & Lily Gillespie Jones, was born Oct. 5, 1928, in Kaufman, Texas. When her youngest child began school, Mrs. Hart began working for the Dallas Independent School District in the cafeteria. Her career spanned many years before her retirement as the high school cafeteria manager. On June 11, 1949, she married Billy Joe Hart, building sixty-five years of family and memories before his death on Dec. 5, 2014. She was also preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Hart and a daughter, Kerry Foster. Helen enjoyed traveling across the United States with her husband, history, camping, and attending Blue Grass music festivals.

Survivors include her family whom she loved very much, two sons; Kevin Hart & wife Rosa of Tye and Karl Joe Hart of Plano, a daughter, Kim Richey & husband Jerry of Pattonville, grandchildren; Clare Hart, Janice Larson & husband Brandon, Brandi Ebbs & husband Zach, Shelby Richey, Sean Hart, Ghyna Malone and Hoit Malone, twelve great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, a son-in-law, Mick Foster of Johntown and nephews; Phillip Irby & wife Lou of Moab, UT, Joe Bob Jones and Michael Jones.
