Harold Pruitte Sr., 88, of Paris Texas, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2024. He was greeted into his heavenly home by his parents along with 3 of his children, Glenda, Harold Jr., and Carroll.
Harold was born on March 28, 1936 in Bois D’ark, Texas to James and Jewel Pruett.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Pruitte; and children, Dawn Crook and husband, Darrell, Tracy Henderson and husband, Chris, and their mother Jimmie Pruitte; children, Laura Moore and husband, Mike, Sabrina Washington, Ryan Pruitte, Paula Penn and husband, Cameron; step-children, Patricia Moore and husband, David, Thomas Murphy and wife, Marlena, and Aaron Murphy. He was loved by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, cousins, and many friends.
He loved to tell stories, especially funny stories because he loved to laugh. He loved fishing and cars. Some of his favorites were Fords and Mercurys. He loved his career in floor installations and it showed in all his work. He made a lot of friends and memories in his time here and will be missed by all.
Services will be at Pathway International Church of God, 3905 SE Loop 286 in Paris, Texas on Friday, September 13th. The family will receive friends for visitation at 4pm and service to follow at 6pm. Graveside service will be at Holly Springs Cemetery in Montalba, Texas on Saturday, September 14th at 11am.
