Harold Dean Pool, 82, of Paris, passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Arrangements are under the direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home. A formal service is not scheduled.
Mr. Pool, the son of Floyd T. Pool and Geneva Pherigo Pool, was born June 6, 1940, in Petty, TX.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Flex-o-lite until his retirement. Following retirement, he operated a small engine shop from his home, mainly repairing lawnmowers and weed eaters.
His parents, two brothers, Billy Joe Pool and Alvie Pool, and a sister, Helen Thomason, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary Tompkins Pool, whom he married on Feb. 15, 1974, three sons, Marcus Ray Pool, Sr., Calvin Pool, and Jimmy Pool and wife Kimberly, one daughter, Geneva Pool, grandchildren, Marcus Ray Pool, Jr., Dalton Pool, Haley Pool & Roy Westbrook III, Devin Pool, Holly Pool, Zachery Pool, Jesse Pool, and Ashley Pool, several great grandchildren, and siblings, Mary Griffin, Martha Copeland & husband Mike, Betty Tubb & husband William, Floyd Pool, Jackie Pool, Michael Pool, and Ray Pool along with numerous nieces & nephews and a host of friends.
