Gwendolyn Louise Walker, 80, of Paris, died at 12:57 PM, Monday, November 12, 2018, in Paris Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 AM Thursday, November 15, 2018, at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Jim Semple officiating.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers will be Dr. David Salas, Todd Denny, Craig McGregor, Jeff Kinslow, Tim Walsworth and Christopher Johnson. Named as honorary pallbearers will be, Milferd Townsdin, Marion Parker, Billy Jack Hurley, Derald Joe Bulls and Joe Iglehart.

Mrs. Walker was born February 24, 1938 the daughter of Klyce and Juanita Heathcock Craven. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, where she loved attending bible studies especially prophecy, in her younger days, she was an active member of the Garden Club and Beta Sigma Phi.

Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus F. Walker whom she married on September 13, 1956 in Honey Grove, a grandson, Joshua Michael Ponder and her parents.

She is survived by children, Gwynnita K. Walker Ponder and husband, Michael of Rowlett and Marcus “Mark” C. Walker of Paris and a granddaughter, Meagan A. Ponder.
