Just before summer truly kicks into full gear, children of Texas can now earn some extra pool change and sell some ice cold lemonade from their front yard.

Late Monday night Gov. Greg Abbott signed a bill that will allow Texas kids to operate a lemonade stand on private property.

The Texas Tribune reported Monday of the news. The bill was authored by state Rep. Matt Krause, R-Fort Worth; which passed unanimously in both chambers.

“Here’s a common sense law,” Abbott said in a video posted to Twitter.

“So here kids…cheers!” he said.
