Glynn Giles Parish, 82, of Paris, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018, at Paris Regional Medical Center.
Following Glynn’s request, a service will not be scheduled. Cremation was under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Mr. Parish, the son of Horace Giles Parish and Grace Brooks Parish, was born Oct. 16, 1935, in Bagwell, TX.
His mother married Jay Coursey following the death of his father, Horace Giles Parish.
Glynn was preceded in death by his father, his mother & step-father, and several aunts and uncles including Alfred Coursey.
He began working as manager of the Toco Package Store when it opened and remained working there until his retirement.
Glynn was a lover of nature and God’s beauty. He loved sports of all kinds and enjoyed a good laugh. He will be missed.
Survivors include two daughters, Shanna Pruitt & husband Tom of Paris and René Vest & husband David of Longview, two grandsons, Colton Chumbley and Alex Hagan, several cousins on the Brooks side of the family along with a host of friends.
