Gloria Pax Tingley, 86, of Paris, passed away Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at her home while surrounded by family.
The family has scheduled memorial services for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7th at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 4010 Old Bonham Rd., Paris, TX 75460. Cremation was under the care & direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Mrs. Tingley, the daughter of Albert Clifton Morse and Alta Mae Hazel Morse, was born July 19, 1939, in Santa Rosa, CA. She attended schools in California and later lived in Oregon until moving to Texas in 1986. She was a caregiver and licensed CNA working in hospitals, nursing homes, and private homes.
Gloria was an active and faithful member of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Merritt Tingley, a son, Lou Forney, and three siblings, Helen Hernandez, Paul Morse, and Ruth Thorne.
Survivors include two daughters, Charlene Lynn Hignight and husband Chad and Tina Marie Morgan and Rod Fulton, one son, Timothy Forney, seven grandchildren, Domonique Foster and husband Brandon, Alexia Bailey and husband Antwane, Daniel Torres and wife Charscilla, Benjamin Hignight, Breana Carmon and husband Kory, Andrew Allen and wife Brittani, and Shelby Allen, and six great grandchildren, Mia, Kai, River, Zoe, Nolan, and Huxley along with numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
