Gladys L. Miller Maxwell, 89, of Paris, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Spring Lake Assisted Living and Memory Care.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Meadowbrook Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Gladys, the daughter of James Eddison and Lena Groves Burks, was born September 19, 1935, in Warren Arkansas.
Her career with the Campbell Soup Company spanned 25 years before her retirement. She was a member of Calvary Chapel and had done volunteer work at the hospitals in Paris.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Elton Miller, her second husband, Robert Maxwell, her son, Phillip Dwight Miller, stepson, Richard Lee Maxwell, three brothers and five sisters. Survivors include a daughter, Jeanne Poole, a daughter-in-law, Pam Miller Little, stepson, Robert Dale Maxwell, grandchildren, Jennifer Dawn Miller and husband Nick, Billy Don Springer, Kara Tenery and husband Clayton, Jessica McGonagill and husband Landry, step grandchildren, Carlin Maxwell, David Maxwell, Sharlene Maxwell, Joel Maxwell and Dickey Maxwell, great grandchildren, Jayme Orion and wife Meagan, Jada Rogers, JaeLynn Miller, Eli McGonagill, Kennedi Springer, Brody Springer, and Emma McGonagill, and a great great granddaughter, Jordyn Barton along with several nieces and nephews.
Casket bearers will be: Billy Springer, Nick Miller, Landry McGonagill, Eli McGonagill, Damian Silva, and James Caudill.
