Denison Police Department recently seized 32 kilos of methamphetamine with a street value of $2 million after working a traffic stop.
“One of our officers was working traffic enforcement when he attempted to make a traffic stop,” said Denison PD online. “The suspect took off, and a short pursuit ensued.”
Officials said the suspect wrecked and was taken into custody.
After searching the vehicle, officers found 32 kilos of methamphetamine with a street value of $2 million.
“This is the largest amount of narcotics seized during a traffic stop in Denison Police Department history. Great work by the team here at DPD.”
