Gary Edward Barolet, age 70, of Paris, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018, at his home with family at his side. A memorial service will be held at 5:30 PM, Monday, February 19, 2018, in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 4:30 PM until service time on Monday. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Gary was born February 16, 1947, in Providence, Rhode Island to Bill and Sally Barolet. He was deeply committed to his family, friends, and career.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Barolet of Paris; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kelly and Johnny Francis of Denton and Shannon and Jason Hostetler of Blossom; three grandchildren, Courtney Mitchell, Caitlyn Mitchell, and Ty Hostetler; siblings and outlaws, Sandra Brakemeier and husband, Robert, Bill Barolet, Brenda Hambly, Joe Barolet and wife, Charlotte, Lynn Barolet-Fogarty, Robert Barolet and wife, Cheryl, Jan Steelman and husband, Mark, and Tina Barolet; and fourteen nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
