G.C. Faught, 90, passed away in Paris, Texas on September 25, 2023.
G.C. was born in Fort Townson, Oklahoma, to parents, Grover Cleveland Faught and Mattie Sanders Faught on February 16, 1933. After graduating High School, he joined the U.S. Navy. Once he had served his country in the Navy, he served his community as a teacher. He taught in schools in many states including Kansas, Colorado and California. He finally retired in 1992 after over 60 years of educating.
Mr. Faught’s cremated remains will be placed to rest in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hugo, Oklahoma. No formal service is scheduled.
