Ryan Alexander “Alex” Stephens, 7 year old of Sumner, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2023 at his home.
A funeral service has been set for Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Brother Phil Spann officiating. Interment will follow at Hopewell Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
Alex was born in Paris, Texas on February 18, 2016 to Michelle Dimond and Russell Stephens. He was an Honorary Sergeant of the Special Heroes Unit of the Reno Police Department. He loved Sonic the Hedgehog, Paw Patrol, The Grinch, Superman and Spongebob. Alex enjoyed riding four wheelers and going mudding. He was such a loving person, always smiling and a ball of energy. His happiest moment was when his little sister, Meredith, had her “Make a Wish Day”. Along with his sister, he got to meet all of the Disney characters, and met Bruno, the character from the movie Encanto.
He is survived by his mother, Michelle Dimond; father, Russell Stephens; brothers, Tyler Dimond, Wyatt Dimond; sister, Meredith Stephens; grandparents, Marilyn and Dwayne Dimond; aunts, Keri Dimond, Mary Corbin; uncle, Jimmy Stewart; cousins, Hailey Smallwood, Delbert Corbin, Kylie Corbin, Jessie Stewart, Hailey Maddox; numerous other family members.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Wyatt Dimond, Hailey Smallwood, Kylie Corbin and Cason Triplett.
