A Leonard, Texas, man was arrested on Friday for four counts of Indecency with a Child, stemming from allegations related to incidents which occurred in late 2024 and early 2025.
Fannin County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested 35-year old Donnie Edwin Fonville on May 9, 2025, and he is currently be held in the Fannin County Detention Center on a $300,000 bond ($75,000 per offense).
“In the course of the investigation, the Fannin County Sheriff’s Office discovered that Fonville had been involved in activities that present him with easy access to young children,” said Fannin County Sheriff Cody Shook.
The FCSO said they do not believe there is any ongoing threat to the general public, but this case is still an open and active investigation.

In accordance with his rights under both the Texas and United States Constitutions, Mr Fonville is, and should be considered, innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
