The East Texas A&M University football team has announced its first opponent for the 2027 season as the Lions are set to play at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
The Lions and the Ragin’ Cajuns will meet on September 11, 2027, at Louisiana’s Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium. It is the seventh documented meeting between the two programs, but the first since 1969. East Texas A&M is 4-2 all-time against Louisiana, including a 24-13 win in Lafayette on September 27, 1969.
