Campbell Soup Company reassured its employees would continue receiving paychecks after a ransomware attack took out its timekeeping system early last week.
“Our immediate priority was making sure all our employees were paid this week, and all paychecks were distributed on schedule,” said Amanda Pisano, Campbell Soup Company spokesperson.
The ransomware attack affected the company’s timekeeping system on Dec. 13, and several employees were concerned they would go without a paycheck this close to Christmas. Campbell’s Soup Company has continued to work with its employees to make sure they receive a paycheck.
“We have plans to make sure that employees continue to receive their pay. We are doing everything in our power to minimize the impact to employees,” Pisano said.
