Early voting for the 2020 Primary Runoff continues this week through July 10 with Election Day being July 14.
Voting will take place at the Courthouse Annex, 231 Lamar Avenue in Paris.
The county has a three-race vote that locals will need to be aware of.
For Democratic voters, there are two state races. Any registered Democrat that voted or registered in recent weeks can have their say at the polls.
Race 1: The Texas US Senate race, which will pair Mary (MJ) Hegar against Royce West.
Race 2: The Texas Railroad Commissioner, which will pair Roberto R. ‘Beto’ Alonzo against Chrysta Castaneda.
For Republican voters, voting will only be for those residents that reside in Pct. 1.
Run-off Race: Lamar County Pct. 1 Commissioner between Rick A. Ruthart and Alan Skidmore.
