As the second semester kicks off, North Lamar Intermediate coaches are introducing an exciting rhythm into its Physical Education curriculum with DrumFIT.
This turn-key program not only promotes cardiovascular activity but also targets social-emotional learning through the dynamic art of cardio drumming and engaging video lessons.
PE teacher, Coach Susan Johnson, shares her enthusiasm, stating, “The kids are loving Drum Fit! It’s one of their favorite activities we have done this school year. It’s all about making fitness fun! The upbeat and familiar Kidz Bop music keeps them engaged and entertained!”
This innovative approach to fitness is setting a lively tone for the school year, proving that physical activity can be both enjoyable and beneficial.
The DrumFIT program not only keeps students active but also enhances their overall well-being as they drum their way to a healthier lifestyle.
